| Can I project onto a white wall? A white wall is often used as an alternative for a projection screen. Both appear white at first glance, so what is the difference?

How do you operate the spring-operated screen?
Unrolling the screen: Pull the screen down using the cord/handle and stop it once it reaches the desired position. The locking mechanism will ensure that the screen remains in that position.
Rolling the screen: Pull the screen down slightly at a reasonable speed (the screen will be unlocked) and allow it to then roll back in, without stopping it, at a reasonably rapid pace. If the screen rolls up too slowly, it will stop in the locked position.
Does my electrical screen come equipped with a remote control?
Every electrical projection screen comes equipped with a 3-metre long connection cable and a remote control.

May the projection screen fabric be cleaned?
You may remove a small stain from the fabric with BrightSight or water and soft soap. Under no circumstances may caustic substances be used for stain removal.
Important! When you roll the screen, make sure that no insects have remained on the screen fabric. This will result in ineffaceable stains.
I have noticed that for a brief period after receiving my projection screen, the screen fabric emits an odour; what is this odour and will it disappear?
There are softening agents incorporated into the screen fabric in order to ensure that the fabric remains as flexible as possible. These softening agents emit a strong scent. If you allow the projection screen to hang open for several days, the scent will disappear on its own.
Can I also hang the screen fabric in front of the window since the back is black in colour?
Projection screen fabric is not a blackout screen. In spite of the black backing on the fabric, it is not 100% lightproof. You may hang a projection screen in front of a window without worrying that it will be damaged or wear out faster. However, in order to be able to enjoy it to its fullest, we recommend that you hang the screen fabric elsewhere, certainly under bright conditions.
Is it possible to operate both the projection screen and the projector with one remote control?
If your projector is equipped with a special output (known as a “screen trigger”), it is possible to connect it to a control module. The control module may serve as a control device for the projector as well as for the projection screen. For further information, please consult your AV specialist.
